Lenno are you just planting or bringing them home to stratify?

The hazards of delaying berry picking by a day - I was going to go out to my little patch on Sunday to pick ripe berries, but got busy with other things, so didn't get out there until yesterday (Monday)evening. Well, squirrels or something have taken off the entire seed pods of many of the plants that had ripe seeds! The stem and entire seed heads were gone! I did manage to pick some berries, but not like I was hoping for. That is what I get for waiting an extra day, 'cause the heads were loaded with red berries on Saturday when I looked them over!

I guess I'll go out every day or so to pick whatever berries are ripe at that time, rather than letting the critters take the entire seed crop!

That's cool Lenno! I went to a spot today, all berries were green.

Kchacha, that stinks, I guess you could call it natural planting. Hopefully they will be depostited in suitible soil!
