TOPIC: A Little Added Security

A Little Added Security 7 years 6 months ago #39287

Even though I have 13 cameras and some mechanical deterrants, I decided to follow Scott Person's physchological deterrant as well. Especially after catching two poachers last year and one had a seedling root in his pouch that he raped from someone else's land before approaching mine. Losers!

Good Job!

Have you got them all topped yet?

Yes, and no. And thank you. All wild ones (all that is in my woods with any real size yet) I have layed down and buried with leaves. I feel leaving the top attached will allow the sugars to flow back into the root. (I have wondered if this could cause disease however) As for my plantings, I have seedlings and one year olds everywhere (in patches and little mini patches) and I am nervous about topping or even disturbing the young-ens. They seem so frail.

Thanks Rickyc. I have a whole $3.50 in it from yard sale items. Stuffed with non organic packing materials. Cheapest security item yet.
