Area looks good to me. I find my seng does really great in a mature woods. However, due to the canopy the roots and plant tops are small due to the heavy shade. Some of my woods in other areas that I plant were select cut and the seng does much better root and plant top size wise. I agree Frank. Seng does much better in a lightly shaded woods than previously thought. I would rather plant in a 75 % shaded woods than a 85 to 90% shaded woods.
