Here's a pic Billy and everyone Look at root on right How many of you find roots like this that have partially died back? Does't that just break your heart when you dig one like that!

Yea huntndig thats a heart breaker rite there makes me sad.Well this year I foiund and old root that had over 30 proior curls and half the root was gone like that one and it still weighed 3/4 of an ounce it would have been a realy good one,yea I know that feeling the root on the left is realy nice.

Guys here is 2 photos of some of our oldest & biggest roots.I was realy blessed this year to dig 2 1/2 to 3 pound of dry old root this year,my best season ever for old seng.It isent all dry,but it is closer now.

Billy those are great roots!! Don't you just git a thrill when you find some big ole plants deep in the woods where no man has dared gittin back to.I love huntin seng!!

Yes huntndig I truly do love finding them I sure do.

The plant that I am showing you all here was one of the biggest 4 prong tops I ever found,realy huge,wide set limbs and leaves,,but to my suprise the root was only about 1 1/4 ounce and that I know is a great root,but you can tell by the size of this top that it could have been a 4 ounce + root.I was very thankful for this find,my biggest overall top ever,I weigh around 280 pounds,so by the spread of the top and me in the photo you can see what I mean about its size.

Billy thats a beautiful 4 prong! Heres a old yellow boy and his root..hate to see it end, so thank the Lord for deer hunting.

Here is ole yellow boys root. Been a fine year.
