prior to planting ginseng seeds, is it necessary to keep it refrigerated. I ti will be late September or October before I can plant the seeds.

Yes, you should try to keep them refrigerated and moist. The key word being MOIST, not wet. You can plant anytime from this fall into early spring as the weather and ground cover (snow) allows. Good luck.
