I am from houston county, but I am in college at mankato state university. I have been out a few times in mankato and have found some. I went to a spot the other day where I probably dug 10 roots, and plucked 100. The ginseng was just all pretty small. Mankato is really flat and all fields so it is hard to find any woods to look for ginseng in. Wabasha seems like it would be good for ginseng, I have been there a couple of times.
