thanks chief, was really thrilled to get out there! I'm going to try and get out tomorrow morning. I'm going out of town Monday, and won't be doing any digging for about a week. Looking forward to some nice October hunts. Hope the seng hangs in there for a while.

Thanks trapper, Had to hit the mountain again this morning for a few hours before I go out of town tomorrow. It was a very nice morning again, but man that terrain is something else. The ridge I've been hunting literally goes straight down into an abyss for the better part of a mile. I've been studying it on google maps and there's a road at the bottom. Lord knows how much seng a man could get into if he were to hunt it all the way to the bottom. I may try it one of these days, but it sure wasn't going to be today, lol. I mustered up 8 more oz's for a few hours of climbing. Hoped for a little more, but I did run into the biggest 4 prong top I've ever seen.

I know pictures won't do it justice, but here is the big 4 prong top. I just stood and admired it for 5 minutes before I harvested it, lol.
