TOPIC: High Mountain Sengin 2017

High Mountain Sengin 2017 6 years 6 months ago #40467

Finally!, got a chance to put in a good day of sengin first time this season. I hunted a place I had hit last season, but last year didn't hunt the ridge sides because everything was already gone, because of the drought. This year the high ridge sides were nice and green and healthy, and man got into some nice ones. Dug over a pound and had to leave a little earlier than I wanted. Definitely gonna hit it again next week.

thanks hobler!, Just thrilled to get out. I was beginning to wonder if I was going to get out this season, lol. It was a beautiful day here today. Fell straight down the ridge on my back side right into a devils walking stick tree. Grabbed ahold of it trying to catch myself. Was very painful but could've been really ugly, so very fortunate. All in all a good day to be in the woods.
