rootman where do you live,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I think at this time that fresh ginseng will most likely start around $6:00 a ounce wet.
Dry around 250 up to around 300 but it is my opinion only,I will know in a few days for sure.

Hey Billy,

Nice pictures, especially the rattler.
I agree, Nature has its purpose for everything.

I'd like to come over and visit with you later on.

Have you heard anything on ginseng starting prices yet?

CarlM you do not disappoint me because you have fear of snakes, most people do.The good thing about snakes is the rodants that they eat, realy they help with that alot.I dont know I just think that God had his purpose that I may never understand but im sure he knew what he was doing, and it wouldnt bother me at all to see a Eagle flying with a snake thats all apart of it :)

That is exactly why I wear snake chaps and snake boots! Sorry to disappoint you, but I would have been one of the ones that killed it. I'm sorry I have no remorse for getting rid of something dangerous. Don't forget that Satan's nickname is \"the old serpent\" so there can't be anything good about a snake! I know people think that they serve a purpose but trust me the fox, eagles, mountain lions and everything else would benefit from the extra food to munch on. God Bless ya Billy but dang you are a crazy individual!

LoL B/M in the photo the snake appears to be closer to me than it is.That is a golf club with a hook welded into the end of it and is about 40 inches long. The snake is at least 3 feet from me and well out of striking distance, plus I am very exsperienced at moving them.

Something fishy....holding a \"rattler\" that close to your....hoo hoo...or anywhere for that matter. Been bit before, not by a rattler, but was very sick from it. Yep, if it's got fangs, it needs to die. Period.

Billy,

The fishing is pretty good having the Little South Fork and the Big South Fork rivers that feed into Lake Cumberland. Hate to admit it but I just don't fish much anymore. Seems like to many things going on.
